Passover tells the story of God delivering the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt and instituted by the Lord in Exodus 12:14. It is observed by avoiding leaven and highlighted by the Seder meals and retelling the story of the Exodus. As we approach Passover this year, let’s set aside time to reflect the purpose and power behind the blood of the Perfect Lamb of God.
And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. Revelation 12:11 (ESV)
