That anointed preaching and teaching is the catalyst for transformation in individuals‘ lives and in the church.
PERSONAL EVANGELISM
That lost people matter to God, and therefore, ought to matter to the church.
RELEVANCE
That the church should be contemporary, creative and culturally relevant without any compromise on our doctrinal positions.
MATURITY
That Christ’s followers should yearn for growth and seek to become mature and complete in Him. This is the vision of Zion.
SERVICE
That every member of the church has the potential and responsibility to be a servant of Christ with unique spiritual gifts to build up the Body.
CELL COMMUNITIES
That life-change happens best in cell communities.
EXCELLENCE
That excellence honours God and inspires people.
STRONG LEADERSHIP
That churches should be led by those called and appointed by God to be leaders and that its members should be submitted to God – ordained leadership.
EMPOWERMENT
That every believer should seek to be baptised in the Holy Spirit for empowerment to be witnesses, evidenced with the Scriptural expression of speaking in tongues.
INTERCESSORY PRAYER
That effective, fervent and heartfelt prayer changes things and as such, should be cultivated in every believer and the corporate Body as a whole.
APOSTOLIC
In the mobilising, equipping and releasing of mature Christians into the mission fields for the establishment of contextualised churches and mission centres.
MARRIAGE
That marriage is an exclusive union between a man and a woman , and by God’s command to be “fruitful and multiply“, marriage is for the special participation in God’s work of procreation of new human lives (Gen 1:28)
CONSECRATION
That in the matter of consumption of alcoholic beverages, abstinence is preferred over moderation. For leadership roles in Cornerstone, abstinence from alcohol is necessary.
PROPHETIC
That the prophetic ought to permeate the church to such a degree that every member in Cornerstone carries both prophetic and apostolic DNA.
GIVING
In the principle of tithing and that having a generous heart is a reflection of the God we serve.
ISRAEL
In the full restoration, destiny and God’s end time purposes for the Nation of Israel and thus openly support and pray for Israel.
